Today’s post is on something I see all the time with clients and is a huge barrier to improving your eating. I’m talking about the idea that you need to “eat cl

Note: since writing this blog post, my knowledge in the area of intuitive eating has increased so the answer to this question is a big NO to counting calories. If you want more information on why this is, you can check out a post here about why I have made this shift. I highly encourage you to read that one instead.

It’s September, which is a time of year lots of people look for a fresh start when it comes to their health and eating. Often, this means people are interested in managing their weight. So...

I can't believe it's that time of year already but the back to school season is upon us!

This means the end of summer vacation and getting back into routines, whether you're a parent, teacher, or just someone who has been taking wonderful vacations all summer! Here's the thing about quesadillas though: all that cheese can make them not the healthiest optio...

So I find that when talking to clients about healthy snacks, many of them feel like there are limited options and that they eat the same snacks over and over again. So today, I'm posting a recipe for one of my favourite snacks: Dessert Hummus!

Yes, that's right, I said Dessert Hummus. Lots of people love hummus and it's an excellent option as it's made with chickpeas, which are loaded with fibre, folate, iron, and plant-based protein. Do keep an eye on portions though, as store-bought hummus tends to...
